In the Works from Quaker Dog Productions
The House of Ruth documentary is completed. At least a short 20 minute version has been completed. Now we are on to other things.
QDP has now started pre-production on a documentary about Garden City, Idaho. We will be taking a look at Garden City's past and speculating about its future. I am working on this project with Pat Conn who has recently returned to the area after an absence of 18 years. She grew up in Garden City and her mother is the Garden City historian.
FAHRENHEIT FILMS
Fahrenheit Films is the fiction division of QDP. I am currently writing the script for a drama with the working title, Jeremiah's Calling. There will be a lot of parts for college age actors and a few parent types. The star needs to be able to skateboard and be willing to learn some basic kung fu moves. Watch for casting information.
CREW MEMBERS NEEDED
Do you know anything about lighting? Would you like to know about lighting? How about cinematography? Editing? I'm looking for people to do just about everything and the good news is you don't really have to know anything, just be willing to learn. Our videos are suitable for family viewing so all ages are welcome. We have no budget, so there is no compensation. In other words, you'll be a volunteer.

Kung Fu Quaker Quote
"The most important things are the hardest things to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them - words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they are brought out. But it's more than that isn't it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you may make revelations that cost you dearly only to have people look at you in a funny way, not understanding what you've said at all, or why you thought it was so important that you almost cried while you were saying it. That's the worst, I think. When the secret stays locked within not for want of a teller but for want of an understanding ear."
-Stephen King "The Body"
